Take a sweet and peaceful break from sightseeing and step into a traditional Japanese-style home in Yanaka, one of Tokyo’s most charming and nostalgic neighborhoods.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to make wagashi — traditional Japanese sweets often enjoyed with green tea and crafted to reflect the beauty of nature and the seasons. You’ll use natural ingredients such as sweet bean paste, rice flour, and seasonal colors to shape delicate confections that are almost too pretty to eat.

Your friendly local instructor will guide you through each step, and no prior experience is needed. After your sweets are ready, you’ll sit down in a relaxed tatami-style setting and enjoy your creations with a cup of carefully selected Japanese teas (Sencha, Bancha, and Matcha).

This is more than a cooking class — it's a serene, cultural moment where you can slow down, connect with Japanese tradition, and take home both new skills and sweet memories.

If you want to add Mochi or Daifuku, please book the 2-item option!
