In this workshop, you’ll enjoy a complete cultural experience that includes:
✍️ Part 1: Calligraphy Lesson with a Master Instructor
You’ll begin with a hands-on calligraphy lesson using traditional brushes and ink.
Learn to write meaningful kanji characters such as “dream,” “peace,” or even your own favorite word
in Japanese.
You’ll practice and then create your own finished piece on a decorative shikishi board — a traditional square art paper — which you can take home as a personal souvenir.
🖋️ Bonus Gift: Your Name in Kanji by the Instructor
In addition to your own writing, our calligraphy master will translate your name into kanji (using meaning or sound) and create a beautiful original shikishi for you to take home — a memorable keepsake created just for you.

Next, design a custom calligraphy T-shirt using your favorite kanji word.
You’ll have two options to choose from when booking:
- ✨ Write it yourself – Create the brush design by hand with guidance
- 🖌️ Have the master write it for you – Let the instructor craft a bold, artistic version of your chosen kanji
Your design will be professionally transferred onto a white cotton T-shirt using a special in-studio technique. The result? A stylish, one-of-a-kind wearable souvenir made just for you — perfect for photos, gifts, or keeping as a fashion memory.
